Talk about Jesus Christ, the unblemished lamb of God, whose blood washes away the sins of the world. Our helmet of salvation.

I strongly encourage the best book to read concerning one's faith and God is the Holy Word in the Bible. This does not restrict a Christian from reading other sources of testimony and personal accounts of faith and God. A few books I would recommend to Christians to share with others are listed below.

1) Pilgrims Progress, by: John Bunyan (1628-1688)

2) Fox's Book of Martyrs, by: John Fox (1563)

3) One Thing You Can't Do In Heaven, by: Mark Cahill (2002)

God bless,

I'm actually in the process of reading Martyrs :D

Justification and Regeneration by Charles Leiter. (Thank you, Rebekah. :))
"Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that naturewill reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life." Eph. 6:7-8

This is on Reformation Theology, although doctrine good for one with a solid foundation of the Bible. I'd like to focus on books that deal with Salvation, leading one to Christ, or the Great Commission.

On that note, Mark Cahill also wrote a good book for seeking lost called "One Heartbeat Away"

Lee Strobel, "The Case for Christ"

The Case for Christ records Lee Strobel's attempt to "determine if there's credible evidence that Jesus of Nazareth really is the Son of God." The book consists primarily of interviews between Strobel (a former legal editor at the Chicago Tribune) and biblical scholars such as Bruce Metzger. Each interview is based on a simple question, concerning historical evidence (for example, "Can the Biographies of Jesus Be Trusted?"), scientific evidence, ("Does Archaeology Confirm or Contradict Jesus' Biographies?"), and "psychiatric evidence" ("Was Jesus Crazy When He Claimed to Be the Son of God?"). Together, these interviews compose a case brief defending Jesus' divinity, and urging readers to reach a verdict of their own. (cut-n-paste)

I would also suggest the Big Book of Bible Difficulties and the Case For a Creator.
